Stock is not included in the goodwill but is valued separately. The Imperial Hotel, formerly The Cosmopolitan Hotel: The value

82,200 estimated by Mr. Nicol appears to be reasonable. The Central Hotel:- The Licensee values his furniture &c. at 8300 to $350. The house is poorly furnished. The outside value is $400

to $450.

The International Hotel:-The value according to the Licensee is 8500. We estimate the value at from 8800 to 8900.

The Criterion Hotel:- The Licensee's valuation is X1,500. We place

the value at from £1,700 to $1,800.

The Colonial Hotel:- Mr. Mayer values the furniture at $3,000 to $4,000. This appears to be the full value, if not too high.

The New Travellers lotel:- lars. Oliver's valuation is $2,500. We

estimate it at 84,000 to 80,000. She stated that she had quite

recently spent 8900 on bedding alone.

The Pra a Fast Hotel:- Mr. Whittaker values his furniture at 8850. (A piano had been omitted from the figure previously given)

We estimate the value at from 81,000 to $1,200.

The Globe Hotel:- The Licensee's valution is 81,550. We place

it at $3,000 to $3,500.

The Rose Shamrock and Thistle:- Our estimate of the value of the furniture is $3,500, which is 2500 higher than that of the

Licenses.

The German Tavern:- lir. Karge's valuation of $2,700 to $2,800

is reasonable.

The Land We Live in :- The Licensee's estimate is $1,082. We

place it at $1,300 to $1,400.

Our inspection shewed that these Public Houses are to a very great extent Bars only, those catering for Board- -ers being marked "X" of these The Cerman Tavern has practically

no Bar business at all.
